Volume 1

Sale price£19.95

My golf started at Hoylake, so it is only right this series should start there too. As well as other big names (Wallasey, Royal Birkdale, Formby, Hillside), I look at Formby Ladies, Hesketh and West Lancs.

With memories from living in a van, musings on what links golf actually is, and essays, photographs and beautiful illustrations (by Will Eagar) on these wonderful links courses, Volume 1 is my ode to the links courses of my home.

A JOLLY GOOD READ

Excellent detail and insight into some of the golf courses I have already played, looking forwards to future issues of those I haven't.
p.s. as a printing company owner, i really like the soft touch laminate and spot uv finish. makes it a classy book.

Brilliant Writing

A fantastic collection of musings and writings on the links land of the UK. A must read for any golf travel enthusiast.
When read in conjunction with the podcasts, it creates a thorough and vivid links experience.

Only criticism is that I would like some update on the other membership perks. (Also re-upload the Hesketh podcast please!)

Cheers!

Does exactly what is says on the Pin

Well worth the cash - wish it was more obvious as whether I would automatically get the next volumes or have to buy separately

Beautiful photography of a carefully curated number of the finest courses in the area .

A fine enjoyable work. However, the cost at £18 is high, understandable given limited market but with a proposed 15+ further editions, it amounts to a very substantial investment for anybody wanting the full collection. I would be interested in a package involving a commitment to ALL future editions but at a substantially discounted price paid up front.
